Decision Makers

Three year olds are full of curiosity and spend a great deal of time observing the world around them. Our program uses this opportunity to focus on academic readiness skills.

Children learn to recognize a range of shapes and numbers. Techniques are used to enhance the child’s ability to associate groups of letters, numbers and shapes. Children are encouraged to retell stories using figures, puppets and other play materials. We encourage our Decision Makers to be creative in their play while using their communication skills to build on their relationships and friendships inside and outside of the classroom.

While this classroom is not yet a Preschool classroom, the teachers of this room prepare their children for the world of Pre-K. Teachers use the creative curriculum to explore and learn a broad range of topics from trees, to tunnels and tubes, to clothing. These hands on learning opportunities will get these Decision Makers to learn new things while expanding their knowledge on topics they may already know about.

Teachers continue using our electronic communication program. They are able to send pictures and updates abnout each child's day.
